Introduction

I am a team player with an ability to see solutions where others only see problems. I am quick to familiarize myself with new setups and adapt solutions to best fit the current situation. Both colleagues and clients see me as an easy going and sociable person and I work well in all social situations.

I have great knowledge within Business Intelligence, Financial Processes, Cognos TM1, Coda, SSIS, SSRS and I am a fast learner when it comes to new systems. I have six years international experience from working and studying outside of Sweden.

Career History

Working as a certified TM1 consultant, I have taken an active role in projects ranging from implementing new TM1 solutions to reconfiguring malfunctioning reports. I have had assignments in the retail, bank and entertainment industries.

July 2010 to September 2010

Financial systems manager, Region Europe at EF Education First, Stockholm, Sweden

July 2008 to July 2010

Financial systems manager, Region Asia at EF Education First, Shanghai, China

The EF group in Asia consists of more than 60 companies in twelve Asian countries. I was responsible for the finance IT department where I worked in projects with different integration issues such as:

  1. Moved invoice procedure from the finance system Coda to the sales system Salesforce.
Moving the responsibility from the finance department to the sales department improved invoice quality and standardized the followup procedures for unpaid invoices.
  2. Programed customized income recognition in VBA.
    Mov
ed the income recognition from a manual excel system improving accuracy and reliability.
  3. Customized asset handling in the Coda e-assets module.
In order to automate the asset write-offs and to better accommodate for country specific rules.
  4. Created numerous report templates from sales reports, outstanding invoice reports to controller reports.
I have gained an in-depth knowledge of financial processes as I have been involved in almost all aspects of the process.

September 2006 to July 2008

Financial System analyst at EF Education First. Lucerne, Switzerland

When I first started, I did partly accounting assignments and system maintenance in the financial system Coda. Soon my assignments changed into more application based; I facilitated income reconciliation in Venezuela, set up invoice templates in Hong Kong and automated bank integration in Spain. I learned a lot about accounting and finance reporting.

December 2005 to June 2006
